CheerForce
Program Scholarship Award
This award was first awarded during the
2003/2004 season. It is awarded to the graduation student who
exemplifies the characteristics of sportsmanship, teamwork
and academic success. This recipient will receive a keeper
plaque as well as have their name engraved in the large plaque
we will keep at the gym.
MVP
- Most Valuable Person/Player
This
award is awarded to the individual on
each team whose commitment, drive, motivation
and desire to achieve the best results
possible are without doubt.
MIP
- Most Improved Person/Player
This
award is given to the
individual who has
shown the greatest
improvement in their
individual skills which
have had a major impact
on the improvement
of the entire team.
Rookie
of the Year
This
award is handed out
to the individual
on each team who
is NEW to
the team (not necessarily
the program), and
who has made a major
impact on the success
of the team as a
whole.
All-Force
Award
This
award is handed out
to the individuals
on each team who
have the "full
skill package." These
individuals can do
all of the major
aspects of cheerleading
very well. They are
all very good stunters,
tumblers, jumpers,
dancers and performers.
They also exhibit
a tremendous attitude
towards the team,
program and competitors.
OCA
- Outstanding Contribution
Award
This
award is given to
the individuals on
each team who the
coaches believe bring
the "intangibles"
to the team and the program on the
whole.
